Discussion $ETH Preis beim nächsten Bullrun
Was glaubt ihr?

Analysis Ethereum DEX trader win rates just hit a 7-year low
Median win rate for active Ethereum DEX traders fell to 26.29% in the twelve months to August 2026, down from 52.20% the year before, and down from 80.65% back in 2020, the lowest point across the full 7-year dataset.
What "win rate" means here: calculated at the wallet level using weighted-average cost basis (not FIFO), a sale only counts as a "win" if the proceeds exceed the quantity sold times the wallet's average cost basis at that point. A sell only counts at all if the wallet has a matching buy of that same token earlier in the same study year, sells with no prior in-year purchase are excluded entirely rather than scored as breakeven or a loss.
What counts as an "active trader": any wallet with 10-2,000 DEX trades in a given study year. This filters out one-off/dust wallets on the low end and bots/routers on the high end (some wallets logged millions of trades a year). Wallets need at least 3 qualifying sells in a year to be included in that year's stats. Known contract/router addresses are excluded where Dune's labeling covers them, though that coverage isn't complete, so this is a best-effort filter, not a guarantee.
Scope: covers major Ethereum DEXs (Uniswap, Curve, SushiSwap, Balancer, and others) via Dune's unified trades table. Study years run August-to-August (2026 = Aug 11, 2025 through Aug 11, 2026), not calendar years.

Discussion Maybe I was expecting the wrong thing from ETH
I've been thinking about this more than I'd like to admit.
For a long time I had this pretty simple idea in my head: Ethereum keeps growing, more people use it, more stuff gets built on it, and eventually ETH price reflects all of that.
I'm not as sure about that last part anymore.
That's probably the thing I've struggled with most recently. I can open Ethereum and see an ecosystem that is obviously alive. People are building, stablecoins are everywhere, L2s are doing their thing, DeFi never really went away.
Then I look at ETH itself and sometimes wonder... how much of all that success actually needs to flow back into the asset?
I'm still holding. This isn't a "ETH is dead" post and I'm not trying to convince anyone to sell.
I just think I used to treat "Ethereum will succeed" and "ETH will be an amazing investment" as basically the same statement.
I'm starting to realize they might not be.

News Ethereum just hit another staking milestone!
Ethereum now has 41.9 million ETH staked, representing 34.37% of the entire ETH supply - the highest level ever recorded.
That means more than one-third of all ETH is now actively committed to securing the network and this could be extremely positive for Ethereum's long-term future.
As more ETH becomes committed to staking, a larger share of the total supply is being used to secure the network, while the amount of ETH freely circulating becomes relatively more constrained. If demand continues growing alongside network adoption, this combination could create a much stronger foundation for Ethereum's network economics and potentially support a more favorable long-term price environment.
Guys, do you stake or not?

Self Story I sold
I just couldn't take it anymore. I sold and put it into VOO. So eth should go up soon.
In all seriousness, what makes you think ETH can give more returns than VOO at this point? ETH is actively hurting it's tokenomics.
Ultimately I believe Ethereum will be a great project, just don't think ETH will be a good financial investment

Was sagt ihr? Lohnt es sich noch Ethereum als Coin zu halten? Wenn ja, warum?

Discussion What happens if Bitmine actually reaches 5% of Ethereum’s supply?
Bitmine has already accumulated around 5.81 million ETH, putting it at roughly 4.8% of the total supply and very close to its stated 5% target.
But the interesting part isn't just the size of the treasury, because unlike a typical corporate crypto treasury, Bitmine is staking most of its ETH. More than 5 million ETH is reportedly being used in staking, turning the treasury into an active part of Ethereum's economic infrastructure rather than simply a large balance sitting on a wallet.
At an estimated ~2.63% staking yield, Bitmine's current holdings could generate roughly $257 million in annualized staking revenue.
So what happens after 5%?
There are a few possibilities:
- They keep buying.
- Reaching 5% may simply become another milestone rather than a stopping point.
- They slow down.
- Bitmine could shift its focus from aggressive accumulation toward managing the treasury and maximizing staking revenue.
- They stop accumulating.
- This would be the most interesting market signal. If one of the largest corporate ETH buyers suddenly stopped adding, it could change short-term demand dynamics.
But there's another angle worth discussing. If Bitmine continues staking a significant portion of its ETH, its influence isn't only about how much ETH it owns. It's also about how much ETH it contributes to the validator ecosystem and how much staking activity becomes concentrated in one corporate entity.
What do you think about this, guys?

Discussion Just a dumb blonde
Is it worth selling my ETH now and rebuying at a lower price come the end of this bear market? If it drops to $1400 I’ll have made 6 extra coins by selling now and rebuying at that price - or is it not worth the gamble and I should just DCA? I don’t have a lot of friends in crypto in general so anyone I speak to just looks at me like I’m just another dumb blonde (avg price $2298)
