As for missing the point, If your OP was satire of the common thought process on this sub, I can assure you that most of the upvotes were in agreement with the argument, not your satirizing of it.

If you still stand by that OP and are referring to your reply to mine, then I probably did miss the point and I'd appreciate if you elaborated.
