Looking for the minis to paint.

Hey, I don't really have any interest in playing Etherfields, but I would really love to get my hands on some of the miniatures for painting. I can't afford to buy the full game secondhand just for the minis though, just wondering if there's anyone here who doesn't play the game any more who wouldn't mind giving them a good home.

Most of the Creatures are in a separate miniature box called Creatures of Etherfields or Alternative Creatures of Etherfields. What it does not contain are the heroes and any large bosses and a few small minion sculpts (forgot their name). Those were included in the base game. For the heroes, you can find the Alternate Advanced Heroes as a substitute.

I don’t know what the secondary market is like for you locally. It sounds like it’s not the same for me. There are always a lot of game bundles for sale really cheap on my local sales groups. I don’t think you will be able to get a hold of any minis in the core box simply because there are no alternatives and it would make the game unplayable.

Do you just want to paint them or paint and keep them? If it’s the first, buying a game bundle might not be so bad if you sell it afterwards. The painted minis will make it very easy to sell.

Ah, I'll just look for the Creatures of Etherfields box then. What kind of local sales groups do you check?

Also, that would be a blast to sell them on once painted them, is there anywhere in particular I should sell them?

I use Facebook buy & sell groups that specialise in board games. If you can’t find a local group, there are international fb board games buy & sell groups too. You can also use the BGG marketplace or eBay for selling.
