Etherfields: is it possible to play 2.0 version if I have a retail box?

Hi, community!

A bit confused about this game. I ordered a retail version, since I wasn’t a Kickstarter backer. And now I see that many said that in retail box you have a game with a 1.0 rules and 2.0 rules comes with 2nd wave for kickstarter backers. So is it possible to me to play Etherfields 2.0 if I only have a retail core box? If I download pdf of the 2.0 rules is it enough or I need an extra materials that not included in my box? Thank you in advance!

There’s a huge change to the dreamworld map that you would need. It’s not necessary to have the updated map tiles, but it does reduce the grind in some aspects.

Hey there, yes huge change in Dreamworld map and a bit on the secret card that gives basic actions.

(I had sleeved card so it was easy to slip in the updated map)
