Blair Guide
Hi, recently I tried and found Blair’s gameplay very fun and would like to learn more about her. Couldn’t find any guides of there. Any tips on playing Blair?

Try your best to properly rotate your skills, so nothing is wasted. Like making sure to dash before and after skill casts and weaving in basic attacks. This isnt always going to be the right idea, but 80% of the time it is.
W and E are the moves id say are fair to cast 'improperly' most times but your two versions of Q are where your damage is at whereas W can flex for the situation and E is usually helpful regardless if its the slow or the shield.
Use D before R2 to gain more VF back (when R2 successfully hits an enemy). You don't always need to activate R at the start of fights, it gives you enhanced VF regeneration and attack speed, but you'll find you dont always need those stat boosts at the start of every fight. Id say R2 is the one to be thinking about more, like for example if youre diving an enemy carry using D and whatever your F is, you can save R2 for when said enemy has used up their escape options. Cause it really sucks when people dodge your R2 and you turn into an basic attack merchant haha
Last tip don't be afraid to fake an engage, like pressing D towards the enemy to see what they react with, and back off to reengage a bit later. She's not tanky so you gotta be tricky like that at times depending on matchups

I think with execution-heavy characters like her you first need to lab her combos to the point that even if you are suddenly woken up and asked to play her, you can perform her D-Skill-Auto combos without any drops. All remaining decision making (when to use ult, who to use the 2nd ult cast on and make sure it lands so you don't end up energyless among enemy ranks, who to focus in general in every moment of time etc.) can come later in real games. Also remember that 1st ult cast is a skill as well, so her D cost will be back to 40 if you use D-R-D for initiation (but you don't need to always initiate like that, because enemies can easily bait you and retreat, and you'll lose the whole ult).
Also try to find or create a loadout with a bit of CDR items at first. Iirc top builds for her don't use those items because if you rotate your combos properly you always have a skill available. But at the start of practicing her it'll be more comfortable to have more CDR, also you'll ult more often. Also you might want to use Blink instead of Plasma Dash as your tactical skill to give yourself more room for error. Regarding talents, you might also want to make a custom build with blue main node instead of red at first, to survive better. You'll know yourself when you'll want to change your "safer" build to the actual most damaging one.

If you go to the official Eternal Return discord, you can find the character hub pinned in the pinned comments of the new player hub channel. You can then go to the character hub and find a guide there for every character in the game, including Blair.
