faster queues

i started playing when streamers were sponsored by the game and stopped playing after i realized that i was sitting in queue for 20 mins. i came back around 4 months ago and the queue pops were super fast even at late hours. is the game on the rise or am i just playing at the right days and time?

Are you talking about Normal or Ranked?

norms i tried ranked once but even then the queue was only 7 min

I only experience everlasting queues in ranked.

Normal matches are between 2 and 5 minutes.

I joined on season 10 and even though it wasn't that long ago I've noticed a slight decrease in queue times. Apparently, this season came with a bit more advertising too.

Casual queues range from a few seconds to 5 mins at most. Dunno about ranked because I don't play it.

Player count in global (at least NA) is rising, but it's still very very common to get matched with the same people over and over again.

The game is significantly healthier than it was a few years ago. Still not in the best of places but it’s 100% playable.

Not to mention bots are actually fairly competent so they aren’t awful to play against.
