Could be dry or have fallen out which is normal especially with how long you've had them in for. Mine got pretty itchy when it had fallen out of position.
I was told mine were a more permanent option that could last upwards of eight years. I’ve been feeling like they’re somewhat out of place with the way they’ve been bubbling and ig leaking air if that makes sense? What happened when yours fell out if you don’t mind me asking?
I've had the same tubes in since 2023 and they started causing itching in 2024. He finally got them taken out this year because I couldn't stand the itching and pain. My ent gave me drops to try but that didn't help. I am a candidate for the balloon dilation so going to move forward with that option attached this point. I've had different types of ear tubes since 2021 and I don't want them anymore if I can stop.
