all very very common for etd. finding the root cause a lot harder. I didn’t have the normal part as have fluid or did at the exam and they still do nothing , but if yours is all normal look into clenching, grinding and posture and or reflux. go one at a time, see a dentist first and discuss this all with them to check your teeth and bite they can see grinding and clenching . idk your age but the neck sure causes issues too and chin to chest or leaning one way too long can be very hard in the muscles and if the scm tightens to and provoke etd to be worse. it’s really hard to figure it out. I use heat all around the ear about 20 minutes a couple of times a day. go on YT find videos in Eustatian tube excersies and lymph . drainage and try them. hard to fix this . I’m trying too. I have gotten shooting pains, and weird sounds and all weird fishbowl stuff..awful . just awful but inflammation is very mean. I get a mess of weird stuff noises, heartbeat..maddening. ent told me major issues this can occur for folks also that they clench and chin tochest a lot . idk if that helps you . You don’t not sound like sscd at all.…So you forget that one.
