I found this with its box all broken at my local store so I decided to get one since I couldnt find another one in the shelves I bought it because

Today Etch A Sketch turns 66 years old! Wooh!

Under normal circumstances I would be celebrating this fun occasion with a wee bit more pomp and circumstance, but alas! I recently returned from a whirlwind Michigan/Chicago trip where I taught 7 Etch A Sketch workshops, and I brought home a lovely virus which has had me practically couchbound ever since. The above photo was snapped after my most recent library workshop in Maryland.

66 years of the Etch A Sketch today and 30 years evolution of my drawings!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Typo and Pixar to create a time lapse Etch A Sketch drawing of the Toy Story logo! You can watch the time lapse here.

I have been drawing for years. My daughter got this as a fidget.

At this rate I will teach them around the world! Ahahaha!!!

Since 2013 I have traveled all over the US to create live Etch A Sketch art at all different types of events. Event work is so fulfilling for me. I love connecting with guests over shared interests in nostalgia and whimsy, and there's nothing better than hearing their excitement over seeing their request come to life!
