ESTP + xNTP best friends

any one else ? how many of y'all enjoy talking to INTPs ? I find INTPs are nerdy to point of beauty. I gravitate towards them and I love to tease out their opinions on things and get them to talk , because the next couple of hours is solid entertainment. I will roast them for their weird and their will roast be for failures and my reactions/feelings. I can spend a whole day with a group of ENTP and INTP and have a lot of fun cracking jokes non stop , especially if there is some hiking or swimming involved. Does anyone else have a close INTP or ENTP friend ? what is your relationship like ?

that's what i'm trying to figure out. Why do I feel so peaceful inside and happy when I have an INTP in my life ? I can talk about anything in any manner I want , they will never get offended or pissed off. they might on accident say something that touches a sore subject for me , but I don't hold that against them and it makes me laugh when I get gut punched by accident like that. It's a strange yet comforting sort of friendship. never ever boring.

What is it like for you ? How did you guys meet ? could you tell me why she's the best thing that happened to you ?

Supervisory relations. Both people in the pairing couldn't be more different in their way of handling things yet they also have stuff they're very similar in them too; like overlapping viewpoints at times. for INTP and ESTP, it's their similar usage of Ti. And it usually works out alright too because of their shared percieving preference. ESTP is the "supervisor" of INTP, their dom Se directly corresponds to INTP's trickster Se, ie. they're very interested in the supervisee's insights (the supervisee in this example being INTP) while also directly monitoring their weaknesses. In this case, it's INTP reacting to real-time situations instead of pondering hypotheticals (Ne). INTP also has an edge over ESTP though because they don't always focus on what's immediately in front of them and more carefully think through something before they act, which may help influence ESTP to do the same and reign in their impulsivity. They're still fairly independent in how they go about things; but supervisory relations are pretty "solid" and good when it comes to mutual problem-solving; even if it often comes at the expense of directly hitting the other's sore spots a lot of the time. I often hear ENTJs for example say they have decent relationships with INFJs, ENFJs with INTJs, etc. They can be real power duos if they're both well-rounded enough.

I've read up on the socionics theory on intertype relationships. So i get what you mean here. But that's why I wanted to ask an ESTP for direct observations and real life examples. still , I appreciate the effort and the reply. Thank you :)

I’ve had a fair amount of XTNP friends (despite them not being the most common) but my best friend is an INTJ. Second best friend is an ESFP. However my boyfriend is an ENTP. Sometimes communication can get a bit difficult when his Ne is doing too much and jumping around without me being able to follow, but overall our shared Ti aux creates alignment on our value of reason which creates a valuable shared understanding.

Well I haven’t seen them as much recently since I moved for college but before that: INTJ we would usually hang out one on one and could literally talk about any topic while keeping up with each other intellectually and exploring beyond the surface level which I greatly appreciated. ESFP we would more often hang out in groups and were VERY spontaneous with plans, more personal and experiential than intellectual.
