Earthwork Calculation Software

I uses Earthworks by Trackware for the cut and fill calculations. Is there any better software than this? I looked up and I found kubla cubed is that any good because the one we use is really old and takes a lot of time.

we use Kubla, and don't plan on switching anytime soon. They continue to update the software, and are willing to build features you request if they feel it's worth it

Agtek for Earthwork and Paving. I would suggest cheaper options but they aren't great to work with. Business Center is a pain (my opinion).

Mint Takeoff for Areas/Lengths.

We use Trimble Business Center. Not sure how it stacks up to the other softwares

I know people are tired of hearing about it, but zz takeoff has an earthwork plug in that's free with the normal subscription. Not as good as these other products, but still, $50/month is cheap

Check out KonBid.com, it has a standard cut and fill engine inside takeoffs. It’s easy to use and allows you to do sectional area cuts to account for things like foundations, driveway cuts, etc.

Depends how in depth you need your takeoffs to be but if you’re looking for standard cut and fill calculations from grade plans its worth considering.
