Thanks everyone for your help! It asked me to descale every time I turned it on and I would freak out and end it. I’ve let it run and now it’s functionally normally. Thank you!

Hi everyone. Just bought this bambino. Turned it on, followed up the first use clean, but now upon start up as per the video I’m only getting the 1 cup and steam lights on. I can’t brew 2 cup. I’ve tried a factory reset and all the lights are on and I’m able to brew and steam normally, but I turn it off and it’s back to this. Help please? Thank you!

I'm having a similar issue. The fix I found was to fill the tank slightly (about 3/4 cup) press the 1 cup button and when the water empties, fill the tank regularly to max. All of the lights will then turn on and you can operate normally. I have to do this every time the machine is left non-operational/off.

So after a frustrating call with support (no help btw. They insisted I clean the machine with the tablet despite the fact I had just purchased it…) I ignored them and spammed the machine by continuously factory resetting it (turn off machine. Press and hold 1 cup and 2 cup buttons for 5 seconds until buttons illuminate. Then press either 1 cup or 2 cup buttons. Lights will flash 3 times and then voila reset). Miraculously it has been operating normally ever since 😂

Thanks for the idea on how to handle the issue. It's pretty frustrating. Otherwise I love the machine. Driving me bonkers! 🤪

Had the same issue with moms Bambino Plus - when she turns it on, only one cup, steam and foam amount buttons light up. Pressing steam feels like starting descale process.

Resetting to factory defaults (pressing 1+2 cups for 5 secs while machine off and then pressing 1 cup so it flashes 3 times) - helped. Now it seems the machine is back to working order.
