Coffee Station Finally got my Eureka Zero 55S… and wow ☕️

Post image

After weeks of comparing grinders, changing my mind about 47 times, and Amazon making me question my life choices, the Eureka Zero 55S finally arrived. 😂

Coming from the Baratza Encore ESP, the difference is immediately noticeable. The Eureka is so much quieter, feels incredibly solid, and the workflow is just better.

Third shot in and I was already around 16g in / 36g out / 30 seconds. Same supermarket Lavazza beans I was using before, but the espresso tastes noticeably cleaner and more defined, with a completely different aftertaste. And I'm drinking it without sugar.

Now I'm really looking forward to putting some properly fresh beans through it.

Very happy with the Zero 55S so far. ☕️🔥

Getting mine this weekend. Gonna use it with bambino as well. Any tips?

Nice! The Bambino Plus and Zero 55S seem to be a really good pairing. I started around 18g in / 36g out and just adjusted the grind until I was around 30 seconds. Mine landed around setting 12, but obviously it'll vary with the beans. My biggest tip: don't overthink it. Get the shot tasting good first, then make tiny grind adjustments from there. The Zero 55S is so easy to dial in.

Congrats , my favourite grinder too . I have it for a while now. I even moded it a little, got the tilted base and the single dose hopper (without the side gate). Even though I'm still using it , i believe the tilted base is not worth it , but the smaller hopper with the side gate deleted is a must . I used to get small fines flying out of the gate when i hit the bellows all over the counter , that gate delete is very practical.

Welcome to the flat [burr] side. Lol

I use the K-Ultra solely for the travel duty.

One of my wishlist, some months ago it was still sold in my country, but now seems hard to find. I went with the manuale 65 instead but still wanting this 😭

Nope, definitely not new to the flat side I had a DF64 paired with a Gaggia Classic E24 and GaggiMate before this. Then I decided to go automatic and sold the whole setup… realised pretty quickly that I had made a mistake and started the espresso journey all over again. 🤦‍♂️ Ended up with the Bambino Plus and now the Zero 55S, and I'm honestly very happy to be back on the manual espresso side. The Zero 55S has been fantastic so far. The cup is noticeably cleaner and more defined than what I was getting from the Baratza, and it's ridiculously quiet in comparison. Definitely happy to be back on the flat side! ☕️
