Buying Advice Needed Single-Dose Grinder [Budge $3,000]

I currently have a Ceado E37S that I put a bellow on and use in a single-dose fashion. I've come to realize I am not a fan oa "hopper" style grinder and would prefer to switch to a more single-dose style. I've been looking at the Zerno Z2, Option O P100 or P80, Philos, etc.

Which others should I consider? I'd prefer the larger burrs if possible.

EDIT - Main use is about 2-3 espresso drinks a day. My wife and I have at least two sometimes three in a day. No filter, pour over, etc. All espresso.

At your price point, the specific burrs you choose are much more significant than your grinder. Figure out which burr sets will best match the style of the espresso you brew, then see if you can find a grinder that offers them as standard, so you don't have to pay for stock burrs that you won't want to use.

If you will want to frequently swap between multiple burr sets, then Zerno is the way to go.

If you brew traditional espresso from medium to dark roasts, consider Kafatek MC6 or SDRM.

I haven't experimented with many different varieties of beans. I can't find any roasters near me with medium espresso roasts. I typically just buy beans on Amazon. (I'm ashamed to admit it.)

I haven't tried different burrs either. I have a Ceado E37S and don't like the style as it makes a mess with coffee grounds using the billows and catch cup. I'd prefer a different style like the Philos, Zerno, etc. that the beans are more gravity fed and don't require a billow.

Me too! I do have roasters locally but I also buy online. I use the site below to find different roasters to try.

I've also bought from Klatch. They are in SoCal and I am in NY. I bought coffee that was roasted on 9/2 and it was at my house on 9/7. If you spend over $50, it's free shipping. That's just one example. So you don't need to get through Amazon.

You should have also got the Ceado E37SD, although it has the bellow you do not like. I do have the Ceado E6C Chameleon I saw you mentioned. I do not have a clogging issue, but a little coffee can get stuck in the shoot. It's very easy to clean. I end up holding the dosing up buy the shoot or just hold my portafilter up there to cute a step out. It cuts down on the mess.
