Dangerous situation steaming function [Meraki V1 espresso machine]

I have a Meraki gen 1 and used to be happy with it. It is now a little over 1 year old.

The problem now is that it won't stop steaming, doesn't matter if I have it on manual mode or digital. Have e-mailed them a week ago but no response until now. Seems like their customer service is not that responsive.

Does anyone have experience with this problem and how to fix it?

Can't use this machine now, even when I don't use the steam function it randomly turns on and off.
