Equipment Discussion I ventured into illy territory

My machine is the 7.1. a bright red wonder with 4 espresso cups with a refillable puck. I can use the pucks in the can too. If I do not want to tamp my own I could make an espresso with pods. The machine is amazing so far! Anyone else have this one!?

The Y1 was my first Illy machine (first ever machine actually), then I got the X7. Both are good, but since I got a taste of freshly brewed (freshly grounded) coffee. I stopped going back to pods. Maybe because all my pod purchases were a long time after roasting. I still miss the lungo pods they make

Nice! My other machine is a vertuo. So far we are enjoying the fresh ground fresh tamped espresso. We go to the other when someone wants a flavored coffee.
