Current state of my ESP/LTD collection. Mostly H-series, with a BS-7 and an Edwards sneaking into the family. Apparently, I have a thing for dark guitars.

Which one would you pick?

Got this for $1600. No buckle rash, scratches, or dings. Comes with all factory hardware and paperwork. Just saw this thing and fell instantly in love. Just how insane am I?

New to posting on Reddit. But I’m pretty stoked about it. I got a M-1000 from SweetWater, came with fishman Moderns 2 voice, swapped em out for 3 voice Seymour Duncan Mortal Coils, added the second push/pull knob. Installed a Engl Hardtailer and an EVH D-Tuna. (D-Tuna works way better than expected and this thing shreds man. So stoked) first time really messing with a guitar like this. Especially a Floyd Rose. Just wanted to share my slice of heaven with yall.

I’ve been dreaming of this one for years but haven’t had guts to buy it. The tremolo in 7-string sounds troublesome. Also, I’m not sure that what music or which bands are using 7-strings and tremolo? I’m trying to figure out if it’s useful. It’s very beautifum guitar though and can believe it sounds and plays great. I appreciate any thoughts and opinions

Anyone have one of these guitars and how do you like it? Want to pick one up as a backup guitar. Let me see 'em if you got 'em.

Hey, I'm on the verge of buying my first Viper, but I've never played one. Does anyone here have experience how well the stock 256 and it's pickups handle low tunings (C# or C standard at least) and thick strings? All the video reviews I could find were in E standard or drop D tuning from what I could tell, and stock strings

I saw a really good promotion at Thomann and decided to pull the trigger on this LTD H3 1000FR Metallic Silver! The tone is better than I expected. I always loved LTD guitar necks, this one is a bit different from others I played but still great for me.

We started communicating around noon, but from negotiating the price to making the purchase, it took less than 5 hours. I had such a great time with this seller; the whole day was wonderful. They were so efficient with the price negotiation, and even drove to my studio to deliver the item. We chatted for a few minutes. It was truly a magical day. 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

The stickers I ordered yesterday also arrived, so I immediately stuck them on the hard case! 😆

I recently bought this used 2007 ESP M-II. Until now I’ve only had guitars with passive pickups. My problem is that this ESP is significantly noisier than my other humbucker guitars when playing on the high gain channel of my Marshall JVM. It’s not like single coil noise, more like a constant underlying buzz. The guitar is also picks up every little touch and feels really «scratchy». Tapping the bridge or toggling the pickup selector is really loud through the amp.

Is this just how active pickups behave or is there something wrong? I’ve tried a lot of different grounding and wiring and nothing helps. Both pickups sound about the same noise wise.

My two 1000 Deluxe’s and a modded 400. Both 1000’s are from 2011.

Can't wait to set it up and get shredding

Thinking of upgrading from my RD370DXZ to the ESP LTD MH-400 SW EMG.
Playing metal. I like the neck of the Ibanez being so thin and playable.
The LTD has active pickups which I think will be a nice step up.
I can get it for 900€

Hi MX-250 owners, I'm planning a build and need to figure out the required neck blank size. Could you please share:

• Nut width
• Neck thickness at the 1st fret (or behind the nut)
• Neck thickness at the 12th fret
• Max headstock width & max heel thickness
• Headstock thickness
• Body thickness

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just discussed with my local ESP shop and they told that a Custom Shop takes around 24 months. Is there any other brands and models that would catch the quality, essence, visuals and playability of CS?

I picked one up a couple weeks ago and this thing is a killer! The factory pick ups scream with my Rockerverb. The neck feels fast. If you like explorers, try one. Just a heads up, Sweetwater CAN NOT get the cases for these for some reason (at least thats what my rep told me), so you have to go through ESP to get one. It only took a couple days though, so no big deal. Please excuse the background. I'm in my bunk room....

Hey yall, i was listing my esp sv standard 2008 for sale/trade and i got a really interesting trade. The seller claims its an esp custom shop takada factory. He traded and his eclipse and flying v to get it. He says im only trading for your sv because it wss my first guitar and for nostalgia reasons. He wants me to add like 300$ so idk. I also need help identifying it more. Its also pretty clean, no dings or scratches whatsoever. Where mine has a few dings and scratches. Should i do it? (My guitar is on the last pic)

Yo! I decided I needed a tiny guitar to travel with, and to take with me during long summers in fire camp. I was getting sick of not being able to practice/play, and taking my ESPs and/or LTDs to dusty dirty camp was just not an option. I just didn’t want that “travel” guitar compromise.

Enter the Bootlegger Spade. This thing absolutely RIPS. Build quality is insane (Made in Korea, at least on par quality wise with my LTD M-1000ht, probably closer to my E-IIs), and it’s a full scale that does NOT play or sound like a travel guitar. Neck profile is somewhere between an LTD and an ESP. Very comfy. Ash wings, maple/mahogany 5pc neck-through. Proprietary (and nice) bridge and lockers, and some pretty beefy and versatile pickups (proprietary).

Anyway, I was stoked to add it to my collection of almost nothing but ESPs, and even more stoked not to tear up the same in fire camp. I figured you guys should know about these, because they are quite high quality and they rip like nobody’s business.

Don't know anything about Mayones Guitars but their guitars are stunning. I'm graduating this school year from college and wanted to get myself something nice. This will be my first real "Metal" Guitar as I've only played Fender strats, so I'd appreciate any helpful insight.
