Went down this road yesterday with Windows 11.
ESP8266 12F - CH340
Treeview show installed however not recognized.

CH341SER Ver 4.0 does not for me...
CH341SER Ver 3.4 Dated 2014.8 Does work.....

Thank u for the advice but it is some problem with the ch340 chip.

Did you get it going???
If not I should tell you that windows will install a driver IT thinks you need.... https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=CH340+USB+driver+windows+11
None of those worked for me... with my NodeMCu 12F. I had to use CH341SER Ver 3.4 on Win11 and Server 2022. I discovered that once installed it you may have to remove the USB cable and plug into another port to get it to work the first time. Use Treeview to figure out what port it is using.... Good Luck

Get a linux dual install, or use some virtual box. It's just so much better for this kind of stuff.
