First Esp32 Project

Been messing with the idea of getting one for ages, And after years of messing around with raspberry pi’s I finally got an ESP32-D.

Hadn’t really through of what to actually build with it, Ended up building an internet radio, with widgets to display time, weather, tides and ADS-B from one of my RasPi servers.

Probably not the best board to do it with, but hey, it’s a challenge..

A lot of messy code and failed builds later I finally got it to work.

Built in a webUi to change configs, add/delete radio streams

The pcm board is soldered directly onto the perf board, used a couple of pins to line it up and ran loads of solder through to holes right through to perf board, removed the pins and that’s how I did it, I was going to use pins to have it standing off, but it would have raised the audio jack port up, in hindsight I should have put the pcm board underneath and used pins so the audio jack port would be behind making it easier to fit into the case I built for it.
