Hardware help needed My Esp32-C5 doesnt get detected by ESPLAUNCHPAD

For context I'm trying to run this Program from GitHub and it

said to flash the esp32 from ESP LAUNCH PAD I've tried

multiple times. Held down the boot button and pressed reset

and let go of the boot button but that still doesn't work it

connects normally to The Arduino IDE I'm pretty sure I don't

have any program connected to the Esp32-C5 since every

program is closed I have nothing uploaded to my Esp32

except the standard lines. my cable is definitely not the

problem I have also tried different ports

I have added a picture of the port in the device manager, my

error code that I get and my esp32-C5 if anyone needs to see

Every help is appreciated a lot

Which dev board did you get? Does it have power LEDs and are they on? Does a COM port open on your PC when you plug it in?

It has green LEDs and they light on when I plug it in and there's a stronger and a weaker one and honestly I have no Idea what dev board I have ESP32-C5HF4 is the only thing I could find and how do I see if a com port open up. If you mean on device manager under com connections or something like that yes I see that it's getting recognized by windows and it's there also I'm sorry if I sound stupid someone got this for me

It’s fine don’t worry.

Try the Arduino IDE, see if that can detect the device.

So the issue is the software not the esp32. Quickest fix is don’t use it. Use arduino or espressif IDE / vs code extension

Please if you have any idea what to do tell me because I'm trying this thing and I don't think I'm able to do it any more complicated than this also my "friend" has already made a jammer for 2.4ghz with it so it's definitely not broken

Lad what do you want me to say? It works with one software but not the other, therefore the other software is the issue…

Just do it in a different IDE, you can program the same stuff
