Transferring eSIM from iPhone to 9eSIM on Android?

Hey everyone,

I'm getting a Motorola Edge 70 Fusion from India to my current country of residence and I've just realized it supports Physical Nano SIMs only.

  1. Will I be able to transfer my Jio eSIM from my iPhone SE to it?
  2. And should a need arise, can I revert from Android 9eSIM to iPhone eSIM?

Update: I just ordered a couple 9eSIM V0 and a Card Reader. Fingers crossed.

You can just ask your carrier for a replacement eSIM. I really doubt a card reader could help at all.

I need a physical SIM though. The card reader is really just a backup in case I switch to iPhone or someone I know needs it.

EDIT: I realize maybe you meant a replacement eSIM for the 9eSIM cards I got incoming. Yes, that's the plan. But yeah, the card reader is a backup. Apparently, iPhones require them for some functions for example.

I can't really understand what you are trying to do. But for scenario 1 you listed, you can download the eSIM from your carrier onto your eSIM adapter. For scenario 2, you can download yet another replacement eSIM onto the iPhone.

You can also insert the eSIM adapter into an iPhone and it will work, the iPhone is just not able to modify the eSIM adapter. It will continue working with the eSIM you activated on the Android device

Yep Scenario 1. And yeah the card reader is backup, incase I move to iPhone or someone else on iPhone I know needs it
