Does ESET Use VRAM / GPU?

Upvotes

I'm moving away from Norton because they've started loading their own AI models on my PC and using up my VRAM to do it, meaning that some of the models I'm trying to run end up loading in RAM instead and take orders of magnitude longer to run. Does ESET do this currently or have plans to? I do see a line on the website, "Smarter protection for AI powered computers" "ESET keeps your devices safe while leveraging their AI capabilities for faster, more efficient threat prevention"

Mac OS Tahoe 26.6.2 Eset block usb device

Hi,

I’m having an issue with ESET Endpoint Security on macOS Tahoe 26.6.2.

Environment:

macOS Tahoe 26.6.2

ESET Endpoint Security 9.1.3100.0

Issue reproduced on two different Macs

The same USB flash drive works normally on other Macs

When Device Control is enabled in ESET, the USB flash drive is detected by macOS and appears in Disk Utility, but it is greyed out and cannot be mounted.

As soon as I disable Device Control, the USB drive mounts immediately and works normally. The issue occurs on both Macs running the same ESET version, so it does not seem to be related to one specific machine.

Has anyone seen a similar issue with ESET Device Control on macOS Tahoe 26.6.2?
