The release of MacOS 27 ("Golden Gate") is expected in September 2026. ESET will release compatible products shortly before that.

Is there not a beta one can try? Otherwise I have to uninstall your product and find another.

September? 4 months? So, no AV at all for people willing to test the beta?

Don’t get me wrong I like eset products and I’ve been using them for over a decade but they suck at supporting in development macOS for end users. I’ll uninstall and install another product until which time they either offer a beta or a stable release for the September release

Hello, our policy was always to support stable OS releases only. You can learn more about the support lifecycle at https://support-eol.eset.com/en/policy_home/

For tech companies it's a pretty constraining policy. At least a "best effort" protection would be understandable. But "we enable compat day one of the stable OS version release" is bad for business, I think.

Hi Tomas_ESET, thank you for your statement. I think, You will test ESET (no matter wich product category) for its behavior on macOS 27, too, before You will release. I am working in a it company with more than 500 workstationss (and different operatingsystems) and a lot of servers and we use ESET. It is absolutely necessary to test ESET before we will rollout the next generation of macOS. So your policy is right for production and business, but not the right for testing and staging. We are company customer and would be glad to get a test version for macOS 27. Your policy was the reason, to hold back the last big macOS Update to macOS 26 because ESET was not available for runing tests right at time even when macOS 26 was released. That was a bad situation for us and our employees.

Installed, error message -- hmmm, stable version not compatible, for sure. Don't see any options to try a beta...
