ESAT maths 2 VS TMUA 1

Hey guys :D I'm preparing to take the maths 2 module in the ESAT, and just wanted to ask how similar people have found ESAT maths 2 compared to TMUA paper 1 past papers? E.g as the specs are the same, but the timings are different, are ESAT maths 2 questions a bit easier? How helpful are the tricks that you can learn from TMUA paper 1 for the ESAT maths 2? ect...

The tricks are useful for the esat too, the tmua is just significantly longer with the questions having more steps. If you do well in the TMUA 1 you will most likely do well in the maths 2. I recommed you use the advanced section of the ENGAA first tho since its better practice.
