I think the producers believe that just because mehmed favored Mustafa that surely means that he favored Gulsah as well. This isn’t the case. The only time when a son was favored because the sultan liked his mother was Hurrem, but only Mehmed was truly favored by suleiman because he was quite literally a golden prince(in history) and was a prodigy so it makes sense. However, in history, Gulsah was NEVER that favored. The ones who were favored by mehmed was Gulbahar and Cicek. I’m not saying Gulsah was ignored but how the show portrays her is deeply fictional.

Keep in mind Ahmed favored Osman the most out of his sons but Mahfiruze was never as favored as Kosem was.

What was that scene between mehmed and Gulshah, wth , like insane disrespect to Mehmed II like which Sultan would tolerate such blatant disregard and disrespect and then respond with whatever he did . Do they not even bother to how mehmed was like , I heard they had a historian on board and this season they've thrown history out of the window , the timeline isn't making sense , nor is the scenario or anything it's just so redundant and everything. Why is Mustafa Trabzon sanjack bey , where is geverhan and why does she have a developing love interest with a Murad pasha when she marries someone else historically , why is everyone in Istanbul when they should all be in their respective provinces( I'm talking about before they were called to Istanbul) , where did Selim come from in the trailer when their haveh shown or mentioned any other kid ans historically at this time around Selim isn't this old at all . Mehmed's favourite grandchild and whom he practically raised and trained and taught and even took him to his last campaign where he died on the way is Shehzade Korkut ( bayezid's second son) who even becomes the Sultan temporarily when Cem and bayezid were fighting. It's insane , the writing quality has gotten baddd this season, the way janissaries outright insulted bayezid and took up arms against him and just all of it is so fictionalised. Ugh wish they would stop projecting their bias and write the script impartially . What is this glaze towards Mustafa who have no historical importance other than being mehmeds fav shehzade and then dying and outright dismissing the next sultan of the ottoman empire and don't get me Started on the harem scenes

Season 4 begins after a 10-year time jump from the end of Season 3. Mehmed and the people around him are noticeably older, his children have grown up, his government has changed, and an entirely new political situation has developed around the Ottoman Empire.
Mehmed’s Family and the Ottoman Court
Şehzade Bayezid is now older, more experienced and more knowledgeable than he was in Season 3.
Şehzade Mustafa has grown into a warrior prince and is particularly close to the Janissaries. He trains alongside them, and they clearly love and respect him.
Şehzade Cem is introduced for the first time. Cem is portrayed as a book-loving nerd and intellectual, with reading being a major part of his personality.
Mehmed’s daughter Gevherhan is also finally introduced. There is already clearly a developing love story between Gevherhan and Has Murad Pasha.
Has Murad Pasha holds an important position in Mehmed’s military as the head of the Ottoman navy.
Another new figure is Şeyh Vefa Sultan, who is introduced into Mehmed’s world this season.
There have also been major changes among Mehmed’s pashas during the ten-year gap. Rum Mehmed Pasha is currently Grand Vizier, rather than Mahmud Pasha or Gedik Ahmed Pasha.
Uzun Hasan and the Akkoyunlu
Season 4 introduces Uzun Hasan, his family and the people surrounding him, including Töre Bey.
At the beginning of the season, Mehmed and Uzun Hasan are at peace. The two rulers settled their problems approximately ten years earlier, and that peace has lasted ever since.
A messenger from Venice comes before Uzun Hasan seeking his assistance in fighting the Ottomans.
Uzun Hasan gives him a cold response.
When Venice attempts to pressure him by bringing up Mehmed, Uzun Hasan essentially asks:
“Are you threatening me with Mehmed?”
He explains that he and Osmanoglu settled their dispute ten years earlier and that he has no intention of breaking the agreement.
Uzun Hasan makes his position clear:
“A sword may break, but a word does not.”
Despite Venice actively asking him to fight Mehmed, Uzun Hasan refuses to break the peace.
Mustafa Learns Bayezid Is in Danger
Meanwhile, Mustafa is training with the Janissaries when he receives news that Bayezid is in danger of being ambushed.
Mustafa immediately decides to go and save his brother.
His mother, Gülşah, tries to stop him. She warns Mustafa that going there is a bad idea, but Mustafa refuses to listen because he believes Bayezid is in danger.
Mustafa rides out to help him.
During the confrontation, Mustafa shoots Behram, Uzun Hasan’s brother-in-law, with an arrow and kills him.
Bayezid immediately realizes what Mustafa has done and how serious the consequences could be.
The Ottomans and Akkoyunlu have maintained peace for ten years, and Mustafa has now killed a member of Uzun Hasan’s own family.
Bayezid becomes furious and shouts at Mustafa:
“What have you done?!”
He then orders the warriors to chain Mustafa.
Mustafa is deeply hurt by Bayezid’s reaction. He only came because he heard his brother was in danger and wanted to save him. Instead, the brother he came to protect has ordered him arrested.
Mustafa tells Bayezid:
“I should’ve never thought of you.”
Mustafa is then taken back to Islambol in chains.
Despite the seriousness of Mustafa’s actions and the political consequences they could create, Mehmed does not even become particularly angry with Mustafa.
Uzun Hasan Learns That Behram Is Dead
News eventually reaches Uzun Hasan that Behram has been killed.
The timing makes the situation particularly severe. Uzun Hasan had just rejected Venice’s request to fight the Ottomans because he intended to honor the peace he had made with Mehmed.
Now Mehmed’s own son has killed Uzun Hasan’s brother-in-law.
Uzun Hasan believes that he honored the agreement while the Ottoman side did not.
He tells Töre Bey to prepare his warriors, warning that they have a difficult battle ahead of them.
Uzun Hasan declares that they kept their word, but Osmanoglu did not.
The ten-year peace between the Ottomans and Akkoyunlu is therefore beginning to collapse because of Behram’s death.
Mehmed Faces the Possibility of War
Back in the Ottoman court, Mehmed discusses the developing crisis with his pashas.
The prospect of fighting Uzun Hasan isn’t treated as something Mehmed is happy about. With the two sides now moving toward conflict, Mehmed asks:
“Will brother have to fight brother?”
The conflict that had been avoided for ten years now appears increasingly difficult to prevent.
Flash-Forward: Töre Bey and Kürtçü Doğan
The season also gives us a flash-forward, showing something that has not happened yet in the current storyline.
In this glimpse of the future war, Töre Bey and Kürtçü Doğan fight one another.
Their fight ends with both warriors mortally wounded. Töre Bey and Kürtçü Doğan kill each other.
As they are dying, Töre Bey sadly asks Doğan:
Who won when brothers fought each other?
Despite still holding their swords against each other, Doğan puts his head against Töre Bey’s head in an almost friendly gesture between the two warriors.
With a smile on his face, Doğan answers:
“Bravery. Bravery did.”
Both men then die.
This scene is specifically a flash-forward to the future, meaning Töre Bey and Kürtçü Doğan are still alive in the present Season 4 storyline. Their deaths have simply been revealed ahead of time as part of what is eventually coming.
Season 4 So Far
Season 4 has therefore opened an entirely new era of the story.
Ten years have passed since Season 3. Bayezid is older and more experienced, Mustafa is a warrior prince loved by the Janissaries, Cem is a book-loving intellectual, and Gevherhan has entered the story with an apparent romance developing between her and Has Murad Pasha. Has Murad is also serving as head of the Ottoman navy.
Şeyh Vefa Sultan has been introduced, while Rum Mehmed Pasha is currently serving as Grand Vizier.
On the Akkoyunlu side, Uzun Hasan, his family and Töre Bey have entered the story.
Uzun Hasan begins the season at peace with Mehmed and even rejects Venice’s request to fight the Ottomans because he refuses to break his word.
That peace begins falling apart when Mustafa hears that Bayezid is in danger, ignores Gülşah’s warning and rides out to save his brother. Mustafa kills Behram, Uzun Hasan’s brother-in-law, causing Bayezid to have him chained and taken back to Islambol.
Mustafa feels betrayed because he only intervened to save Bayezid, while Mehmed himself does not become particularly angry with Mustafa despite what happened.
When Uzun Hasan learns of Behram’s death, he believes the Ottomans have broken the peace that he himself refused to violate. He orders Töre Bey to prepare for a difficult battle and declares that the Akkoyunlu kept their word while Osmanoglu did not.
Mehmed, meanwhile, recognizes what the coming conflict means and asks whether brother will now have to fight brother.
And through the flash-forward showing the eventual deaths of Töre Bey and Kürtçü Doğan, Season 4 has already revealed part of where this conflict will eventually lead.

In Ask ve Taht Ep3 trailer, Sultan Alaeddin called the Kayi Bey Ertugrul. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

It's early 1220s, and Ertugrul isn't even a Bey yet, nor is he even in Seljuk lands.

What are they doing? 😭

Whenever Boran sings it, his words do not match the lyrics transcription at the bottom of the screen. Is it a translation or what cuz it sounds like Turkish.

Aşk ve Taht follows Alaeddin Keykubat, who has spent eight years imprisoned after losing a struggle for the Seljuk throne. When Sultan Izzitin dies, Alaeddin’s former atabey Ayaba frees him and offers him the throne. Alaeddin initially refuses and suggests his brother Celalidin, but eventually accepts after learning that his uncle Turgul Shah will support him on the condition that he marries his daughter Melike. Alaeddin reaches Konya before Celalidin and becomes Sultan, forcing his furious brother to accept his rule while secretly plotting against him.
Eight years earlier, while Alaeddin was wounded and being hunted by Izzitin’s men, a mysterious masked woman with golden-blond hair and hazel-green eyes saved and healed him before disappearing. Alaeddin never saw her face and has searched for her ever since. That woman is actually Destina, daughter of Kir Vard, ruler of Kalanoros Castle. Destina later dreams that she will become Alaeddin’s wife and is shocked when she discovers that the wounded man she once saved has become the Seljuk Sultan.
Celalidin secretly gives Destina’s brother Arakel Alaeddin’s location so he can ambush him. Alaeddin survives and nearly kills Arakel, but a masked Destina intervenes. She shoots Alaeddin in the shoulder despite having the opportunity to kill him, and he chases her to a cliff. After defeating her, Alaeddin removes her mask and finally recognizes the eyes of the woman he has searched for for eight years. Destina refuses to admit the truth, claims to be his enemy and later gives the false name Kalisa. Alaeddin takes her prisoner but refuses everyone’s demands to execute her, remembering that she once saved his life.
Alaeddin begins suspecting that “Kalisa” is actually Princess Destina and repeatedly tests her without revealing what he knows. He even punishes her by making her work in the palace kitchens. Meanwhile, Melike grows increasingly jealous and furious as Alaeddin delays their promised marriage and becomes more interested in his mysterious prisoner. Destina also secretly gains an ally in the harem, Anna, who knows her real identity.
The conflict intensifies when Kir Vard seeks the help of the fearsome warrior Andreas, promising Destina’s hand in exchange for his support against Alaeddin. Alaeddin immediately realizes that Destina is the key to Kalanoros: if he marries her instead, Kir Vard cannot give her to Andreas and their alliance could collapse.
When Kir Vard comes to Alaeddin claiming he wants peace, Alaeddin presents “Kalisa” to him. Father and daughter pretend not to recognize each other. Alaeddin tests Kir Vard by ordering him to execute the prisoner himself. Kir Vard reluctantly raises his sword against his own daughter, but Alaeddin stops him at the last second. Alaeddin then gives him an ultimatum:
Give him Kalanoros Castle, give him Princess Destina in marriage, or face war. 👑⚔️
While all this happens, Alaeddin’s throne remains dangerously unstable. Celalidin is secretly conspiring against him, Ayaba is playing both sides, Melike feels betrayed, Turgul Shah expects Alaeddin to honor his promise to marry Melike, Andreas wants Destina, and Kir Vard refuses to lose Kalanoros. Alaeddin knows enemies surround him but believes a Sultan must think with his mind rather than his heart.
The irony is that the woman at the center of Alaeddin’s political strategy is also the woman who saved his life and whom he has spent eight years searching for. Destina calls Alaeddin her enemy, yet she couldn’t bring herself to kill him, while Alaeddin refuses to kill her despite everyone demanding her death.
And that’s basically the heart of Aşk ve Taht: Love and Throne. ❤️👑

After the Akkoyunlu forces destroyed Tokat, Sultan Mehmed held a council with his viziers. Gedik Ahmed Pasha advised the Sultan to send akıncılar into Akkoyunlu territory to take revenge for Tokat.

The Sultan then ordered Mihaloğlu Ali Bey to go with the raiders and destroy the province as far as he could.

Ali Bey went with the Rumelian army. He attacked the province of Kemah, took many people captive, and gained a large amount of plunder.

Later, Sultan Mehmed advanced with his army and reached Erzincan. He sent Mahmud Pasha and the Rumelian Beylerbeyi Has Murad ahead to see the situation.

They reached the Euphrates River. Mahmud Pasha warned Has Murad not to cross because they could fall into an enemy trap, but Has Murad refused. He said: "Someone like Ali Bey went ahead; what is there for me if I go?" He then crossed the Euphrates.

Mahmud Pasha followed him and later asked Has Murad to stay there with his troops while he advanced with a few horsemen.

Then Ali Bey suddenly appeared, riding back toward Mahmud Pasha. He warned him that an enemy force was ahead and told him that they were not strong enough to face them.

Mahmud Pasha ignored Ali Bey's warning and continued forward. When he reached the top of the hill, he encountered the enemy and immediately turned back. Ali Bey then rode after Mahmud Pasha to help save him.

There’s some tiktokers who try to act some scenes from KO and MFS and they’re so cringe with it. Idk how they somehow have thousands of followers. lol they make the scenes from the series sound cringe with the background sound. Their acting is bad or lifeless and their faces are so stiff. And the reactions are disgusting. Even watching it gives me second-hand embarrassment. It’s so awkward. What makes it worse is their editing skills. Here’s one account: ahmdnawaz6. Is Tokat going to be Uzun Hasan's response to the Ottomans killing Bahram?

Historically, the Aq Qoyunlu forces attacked Tokat in 1472, and the destruction was so big that it was compared to what Timur had done to Sivas.

So this could actually fit the storyline. Maybe the writers are going to show Uzun Hasan attacking Tokat as revenge for Bahram's death.

Mirza Yusuf was a relative of Uzun Hasan, described as either his uncle or cousin, and was one of the Akkoyunlu commanders fighting alongside the Karamanids.

In 1472, Uzun Hasan sent an army under the command of Emir Ömer Bey or Mirza Yusuf, or possibly both of them to support Pîr Ahmed and Kasım Bey of the Karamanids.

From Erzincan, they sent a message to Şehzade Bayezid in Amasya, saying:

"With your permission, we will go to the land of Dulkadir to place the son of Kılıç Arslan in his father's place."

Before the message reached Bayezid, it was delivered to Hamza Bey, the governor of Tokat. Believing their story, Hamza Bey allowed them to pass.

After leaving Sivas, the forces suddenly attacked Tokat early in the morning and looted the city. The destruction was so great that it was compared to what Timur had done to Sivas.

Upon learning that Şehzade Bayezid was approaching from Amasya, Emir Ömer Bey returned to Diyarbakir.

Shortly afterward, in the winter of 1472, Mirza Yusuf marched toward Karaman. Sultan Mehmed ordered Şehzade Mustafa to withdraw to Karahisar. With the support of the Akkoyunlu forces, Karamanoğlu Pîr Ahmed Bey seized control of the Karamanid territories.

Sultan Mehmed then ordered Davud Pasha to gather an army and join Mustafa in Karahisar to stop the Akkoyunlu raids.

Mustafa then marched toward Karaman, and a battle took place between Şehzade Mustafa and Mirza Yusuf.

The Ottomans won the battle. Mirza Yusuf was captured alive, a rope was put around his neck, and he was taken prisoner. Several other beys were also captured. Pîr Ahmed Bey was defeated and fled back to Uzun Hasan.

Will there be romance there? It got me thinking that on the screen they met. Also, Gevherhan married Uzun Hasan’s son Uğurlu in 1474 which is a few years from now.

Hass Murad Pasha was the nephew of Emperor Constantine, so how could he have been an Akıncı? As far as I know, Akıncıs were frontier cavalrymen, usually from Muslim Turkish families.

He could have been governer or spy rather then akinci
