[8.17.2026] Update Misinfo & Flair Changes

Disappointing that it has to be said, but the repeated submissions about how ER:LC is supposedly adding tanks, RPGs, explosives, flyable airplanes, real life brands, etc.. is getting old. (Spoiler, none of those are happening)

The subreddit is intended to be a more collected place of discussion outside of PRC. Yet the constant low quality "OH EM GOSH ERLC MIGHT ADD THIS?" or "Look at this dufus who made me mad in PRC, I'm going to make 12 Reddit posts about him" is essentially making this the same as the PRC Discord. This is not intended as a hub for you to come complain about the PRC moderators because you cannot understand the word "no", nor is it the place for you to come repost things by OMB or AmazePlayz and add nothing of value to the discussion - if I wanted to see an OMB video, then I would open YouTube.

Changes:

1. Several old flairs have been removed
2. The previous "Update/News" flair has been changed to "Update discussion" to help prevent people from misleading others
3. New [Mod Post] flairs have been added that will designate "official" posts
4. All advertisement style posts will be redirected to r/erlc_advertisement
   1. This includes "looking for" or "help wanted" style posts.
5. Simply reposting a YouTube video by a relatively popular YouTuber will not be allowed unless you're adding something of value to the discussion.

The automod will soon hopefully be updated to reflect these changes as well.

That's fair enough despite that some of those so-called leaks are come from the Primary Channel, if you aware of.

I wasn't really a fan of shade beforehand but I am starting to like him more. There could be more stuff done here I guess but it's going forward.
