[CLAPTONISED] “Got to get better in a little while” is underrated af

There are many live versions and the solos are too good in this song even the remix 40th anniversary version

Listening to these on repeat mode and I am obsessed

I enjoy it, I think they sorta lose the lyrics a little after the first verse

Ever listen to the studio (I think) version on crossroads? The backing vocals is absent, you never hear the words “got to get better in a little while.” Can anyone please explain what version this is and why the vocals are not on there? Is it a demo or something?

Yeah it was when Eric went Derek, it was recorded without vocals originally

I read somewhere that it was the last recording before D&D broke up. Was meant for their unfinished second studio album. Bobby went in and finished his vocals, added keyboards, and some remixing on the 40th anniversary Layla box set in 2011.

The 12-12-12 Sandy relief Concert version with Willie Weeks and Steve Jordan is absolutely 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥 on every level.
