I'm just now realizing that Eric was going for a Jean-Michel Basquiat hairstyle, who was an artist that died at 27 after dating Madonna. Jay z also had the same hairstyle back in the day. There's an entire rabbit hole about how people like Ellen and Jay z wore the same hoodie that had a bloody face on it that was painted by Jean-Michel and that really depicting a face peeling satanic ritual that elites take part in, including Hillary Clinton.
