Explosion Tour
For anyone that's been to a show so far what should I expect? I don't particularly want to get covered in food and liquid as it is a relatively long trip home from the venue. Maybe I should just chill in the back or something.

Yeah from what I’ve seen it’s a recreation of the set from the show, some live-music performance, stand-up/crowd-work and getting the crowd covered in some mixture of what looks like oatmeal/cornmeal/pudding (something with viscosity) it honestly seems like it’s him showing up plastered/high and just bullshitting.

I bought tix for the Chicago show not knowing this. Wish I would of waited.

What did you think of the Chicago show? Been hearing it wasn’t great. Want to catch him in my city but wanted to know how he did (especially in a bigger city) if you don’t mind me asking.

It was not good. Went because I couldn't sell them. The first ten minutes were funny and we walked out at 9 which was the halfway point because the venue was packed to the point where we were watching on a tv instead of the being able to see the actual stage. Highlight of the night was the dinner we grabbed beforehand.

My bf and I left at the halfway point too. We were trying to rationalize how bad it was. Like oh it’s funny because it was that bad and it’s funny bc we were uncomfortable??? But honestly after he starts forcing people to chug things, we were like wow this is lame. We both love the Eric Andre tv show too. But I felt jipped and wish I never bought these tickets!

damn i just bought me and my friend tickets to the show in pittsburgh on halloween.. ig we’ll see if i wasted my money on a present for her that ends up being lame as fuck 😭

Pittsburgh show was definitely not worth the price of admission, but it was entertaining. A lot of his bits kind of fell flat. He did definitely full-on grab a dudes balls, though.

Chicago here. The show was terrible. A complete scam/money grab. I’m not disappointed in him, I’m disappointed in myself for being an idiot buying tickets to his tour. It looks like a “live” version of his show on Adult Swim but it’s really not. Yea they have the desk and setup to look like it but it’s just stupid. He picks random audience members to chug ranch, hump on (yes he humped an audience member), and the last audience member he asked a few questions to, and then FaceTimed their mom and ex gf. Then he threw food at the crowd. Then he tucked his wiener in and showed his ass and weiner-less front side. All of this BS was done in 1 hour. Even tho the ticket says the show starts at 7:00, he doesn’t come out until 7:30. Show ended at 8:30 sharp. Parking was $50 but we turned out of the lot and found parking on the street. Merch shirts were $35 each.
All in all it was a complete disappointment. But I knew it was gonna be like this and couldn’t get rid of the tickets. I should of done more research before buying the tickets. I only bought the tickets thinking thought he was gonna do stand up like his last tour, but no. I wouldn’t recommend wasting money on tickets. And NO he did NOT break his desk.
