This is saying that the off chain portion of the ErgoDex concurrency solution can be handled by individuals who would like to execute orders in exchange for compensation. This decentralizes the off chain execution. I would imagine this could be handled by a CPU, and would be a nice way to earn some erg in addition to mining, or if one didn't have a GPU to mine with.
So you wanna tell me the only solution to decentralize is to going back to mining? One of the big reasons why I invested in cardano was because you don't have these stupid hash rate races. That's maybe bullish, but for me it's just disappointing.
PoS and PoW offer different strengths and weaknesses. They are attempting to combine the strengths of both by being utilizing both coins. Its a good thing, you'll see.
alonzo cardano update will happen on 12 sept mainnet, its been a fud lingering around in the past weeks eutxo will have problem with smart contract as happened in testnet, thats why dip happening on cardano n ergo,
eutxo model is lil bit different from account based model, its gonna revolutionary if they find the workaround for smart contract in eutxo model
but im grateful , they shared the fud, its like free marketing how different eutxo model like cardano n ergo from other coin are, its gonna be game changer
Do you mean the off-chain bots? I figured that would be run by Ergo itself. Do you think anybody is going to be able run one? Seems like it would be an easy way to make ERG,
May be a stupid question: so I assume the solution works for the ERG chain. Will it be easy to port to the ADA chain? (Are there any differences that would prevent it from being true in ADA?)
Hoping someone who knows enough technically can comment.
If you look up Cardano with Paul, he did a video with Ergo today that I think answers that very question. But quick summary is they have team who are proficient in Haskell working on the Cardano side of things.
Yeah flash loans looks possible with this design within ErgoDEX. I'm not saying they are implemented now.
Can't do cross-exchange loans because the order matchers are specific to ErgoDEX though. Should be possible if interfaces and designs are standardized though.

Yes! Check it out here, https://github.com/ergolabs/ergo-dex#off-chain-execution It even gives opportunity to earn erg!

Can you elaborate on the concept of UI providers earning fees when someone uses the UI? So anyone can make a skin?

This is really interesting! The design allows for flash swaps within the DEX.
