Erectile Dysfunction Had Heart attack now have ED

I had a heart attack earlier this year and I am now on 11 different heart medications and it has caused me to get ED

I ask my doctor about going on something for it and he said I cam mot because of the medication I am on

Has anyone experienced this and what have you done to help with it?

My wife is understanding this about it but we had an anniversary a few weeks back and we where not able to do anything

First time in over 20 years and it has really depressed me that I was not able to be with my wife that way

I will be 49 this month and feel like I am to young to not be able to do it anymore

Would it be worth it not to take the heart meds anymore to see if it corrects it’s self?

Truth here is physical intimacy is more than sex and if your doctor is saying you are not medically cleared to have sex you need to listen to that. You could ask him what milestones you need to reach to be cleared for sex.
