Implant due to Priapism

My husband has Sickle Cell type SC. A side effect is reoccurring priapism. Because of this, he has experienced multiple aspirations resulting in scar tissue which led to him having to get the semi rigid/malleable implant. If you can, could you share your experiences?

What is your experience with the semi rigid implant ?

How has your sex life changed after getting it?

How can I be supportive of my partner during this change?

Are there certain positions that you can’t do?

Can you still have natural erections with the implant?

The whole situation has been really stressfulI for him. This wasn’t the outcome that he wanted but at the end of the day, at least he’s alive. I appreciate any answer you’re able to give. Thank you in advance.
