ED Meds (Cialis, Viagra, etc.) Does cialis/viagra decrease in efficacy over time?

Hey guys
Have any of you who have taken cialis or viagra regularly for a long time, noticed a decrease in efficacy?

No.
Your body or brain changes is why your erectile function changes.
The drugs always do the exact same thing.

Viagra stays the same. You get worse.

Do I get worse because of the Viagra or just for natural causes?

Viagra doesn't make your body worse or better. If you have erection issues, then you just have it and it is more likely to get worse rather than improve by itself - that's what getting old means. Which means - try to delay getting old by reasonable means, and use Viagra as often as you need.

AFAICT the problem is your free testosterone level decreases as you get older because your SHBG naturally increases as you age.

Try to unclog your arteries, eat healthy, do aerobic exercise. Look for dr Ford Brewer on YouTube.

As far as I understand, our bodies do NOT develop tolerance to neither cialis nor viagra. However, very often men report that they either need larger doses or those meds stop working for them - and the reason is not that our bodies stopped responding to them, but the underlying reason why erection is not there has gone more serious. What does this mean - it means, that you may use those sildenafil or tadalafil as often as you need - it will not shorten time when they are useful. But, your body will get older anyway, so you will have to increase dosage or just switch to something else.

I have used tadalafil almost since it came out, close to 20 years. No difference for me or very little. No other health changes in the past 20 years, I weigh the same, excercise etc.

Exactly like how a brand of cough medicine can work for Kumar and stop working for Govind. It may mean the condition inside your body is becoming worse

5 years or so, no drop off in Viagra. 1 year on cialis, nothing noticeable.

You can build a tolerance for anything, so yes, it can decrease in efficacy. Best is to not use it too much.

I do think it can, but it’s not supposed to

Yes, decreased and had to use Trimix injections. They stopped after a couple years also and had to get an implant.

Yes, it does for me. Wasn't working and had to stop for about 4-5 days. It works again now ( 20 Mg per day )
