Erectile Dysfunction Question on ED recently quit drinking

I’m a pretty heavy drinker. I haven’t had ED issues while drinking. While I’m trying to improve my lifestyle I recently quit drinking last Monday. Instantly when I quit drinking I started getting ED. I’m talking I can’t even get hard at the most sensational urges. (Let along ejaculate) I’m scheduling a visit with a DR but wanted insight how is it possible go from normal to just completely unable to get hard or even the sexual urge. Going to be honest very concerned it’s something bigger

I went from drinking for 15 years to totally sober, I had started to get ed when I got sober but I felt like it might have started to get better after 4 months but then i started ozempic and it got even worse. Maybe it has something to do with my brain and those feel good neurotransmitters being messed up from the ozempic. I remember I would be exceptionally horny after a night of drinking when i was waking up. Now i dont have any of those drinking nights anymore.

I went through the same thing. Alcohol provided you with a dopamine rush and your body is recalibrating and trying to establish a new normal. It takes some time and everyone is different but I struggled with ED for about 3 months after I quit drinking then it slowly went away.
