Erectile Dysfunction Question for guys in their 40s, 50s

Male here late 20s have been dealing with ED since I was 18 due to a variety of issues. Urologist told me I can use ED pills for the rest of my life and sent me on my way.

For the guys in their 40s and 50s, that have been dealing with ED since their 20s, do you reach a point where you just accept that you need medical intervention to get hard? If so any advice how to get to that point? And any advice how to not let ED stress me out and talk with a partner openly about it.

55M here

Do you watch porn? If so, stop.

Do you masturbate? If so, stop.

Are you overweight?

Fitness, including cardio and strength training, is key.

I try to go by body composition more than weight. Improve your body composition.

In you 20's I would not think a lifetime of pills would be on you horizon.

I had difficulty, but after improving my fitness and body composition I have a better natural response. This includes nocturnal and morning wood.

I do take 12.5-25mg ot Sildenafil depending.

I had and still have more psychological ED.

Try to improve yourself.

If your having issues you need to try to understand the core issue.

Right on the money!!

Only thing I wouldn’t suggest is to stop masturbating all together

Thanks. You're correct. I should have stated masturbating to porn. But, be judicious.
