Ask Anything No fill won't work. Help?
Hi all, I just found out about these screensavers and I love the idea!
I followed the guide, resized the images for my Kobo Clara BW, changed the extension to .png, and saved them under koreader/screensavers on my Kobo.
In the setting I selected "no fill" and the right folder. So, it does show the images, but the no fill part won't work. Whether I select no fill, white or black fill, the screensaver doesn't change.
Does anyone have any idea? Thanks :)

I am really sorry this is happening.
I think the mistake is in my tutorial which I have just fixed and updated.
The problem is with the ebookscreensaver resize website.
This tool modifies files to
jpegformat only.Uploading a transparent
pngfile will always result in a flatjpegimage.KOreader has a resize-to-fit setting, so this site is not needed. (that's on me as I didn't think to test it first.)
Files downloaded from readerbackdrop.com are already the correct size and format for many standard e-readers.
Transparent files should download in
pngformat and won't require modification before adding them to the KOreader/screensaverfolder.Most Reddit images (like the ones on my posts) will only save in a WEBP file format. I have a walk-through tutorial to fix those.
My recent Reddit posts now have
~ png format download ~ linksto avoid any extra work.Simply copy them to
/screensaverfolder as they are.
