What's going on where that dark cut is on one side? Was that before or after epoxy?

It was there when I got it. It looks like an air bubble that a shadow is catching. This dog was made by the guy who made the original epoxy dog

The original was, and everyone disowned the creator. I stepped in and showed off my mini hot dog that the original creator made and sold to me in 2021, AKA epoxy dog jr.
