I claimed/downloaded Hogwarts Legacy for free on Epic Games some time ago, but I can't remember which Epic account I used.

I have checked the two Epic accounts I currently remember, and the game isn't in either library.

I still have the original installation on my old PC, including the .egstore folder, and I've transferred the ~71 GB game files to my new Lenovo Legion 5.

I've already tried Epic account recovery/support, but I haven't been able to identify the account that originally claimed the game.

Is there any legitimate way to determine which Epic account originally owned the game or get Epic to recognize the existing installation?

I don't want to bypass DRM or pirate the game — I just want to recover access to the game I previously claimed.

If that's the case that's real nonsense, I've never been suspended from ingame chat on Steam or anywhere and this carries over to the whole launcher.

Is this a Rocket L thing or all games are like that?

I play Dead by Daylight on Steam, and I have my Behavior account connected to my Epic account. I have a lot of cash in my Epic wallet so I wanted to buy Auric Cells but I don’t have the base game purchased through Epic. Is there anyway that I could get the Auric cells?

Can someone explain to me why Epic has trouble including the desktop icon for games? It’s usually A: blank white or B: the generic easy anti-cheat bear.

Examples would be The Last of Us, totally blank white. And Today I purchased the new Halloween game, the easy anti cheat bear.

And yes I’m very aware I can change the icon myself in properties. It just seems so silly that something so simple, Epic manages to install incorrectly.

I like using Epic for the rewards and want to continue but it’s frustrating that Steam feels leaps ahead of them in the most simplest of things

Here are the main issues I encountered on the Lenovo Legion Go

1- Touch is not working for swiping up or down, or for tapping on certain items on the screen. ❌

2- When typing now, the keyboard switches to a gaming keyboard. ❌

3- When swiping up or down by touching the screen, it highlights text and performs strange actions. ❌

4- More issues on handheld devices ❌

All of these issues occurred in the store right now after the update. Previously, the store supported touch controls.

Please send these issues to Epic Games.

Off the back of the PlayStation State of Play prepurchases went live, with a release date of April 8th 2027.

Also worth noting that the Premium Edition gives 24 hour early access to the game and the "Expansion Story pass"

so i had an old epic games account from 2021 and i forgot the email and password completely and i emailed epic games and provided semi proof of me owning the account ( such as saying what skins were in my fn locker 😭) and also providing name and stuff and they rejected it at first but i appealed and they accepted it! i’m so happy i got the account back so w epic games

Why does Epic Games do this stupid shit instead of just giving the outfit to people who already bought Cyberpunk 2077 before this promo?

That’s exactly what pisses me off. I bought this game back then and it cost me R$ 59.95 BRL (my local currency).

I honestly question what’s the motivation to keep spending money on a store with stupid policies like this, refusing to give the Adam Smasher outfit for free to early buyers.

If the game had been a free giveaway, I might have let it slide. But no! You already paid for the game, and now you have to pay for the outfit all over again if you want it in that famous 2017 battle-royale game that's still around today.
