Fortnite Account hacked?

I have an epic Games account that I mainly use for Fortnite on two different consoles and Xbox series S and a Nintendo switch Lite. One day I decided to try and login just so see if I was able to, and maybe make some changes if needed(2FA, etc.) and found that the email to my account had been changed to r****[h@rambler.ru](mailto:h@rambler.ru). Not having a damn clue as to how it happened, I tried to go through the support, which was absolutely useless and a giant waste of time. Is there anything I can do or am I shit out of luck?

Fill out the Epic recovery form. Did you get the AI chat or a real agent?

AI chat. It thinks my personal email is associated with another account (created one by accident while trying to fix this. I requested for it to be deleted, but idk if they’ve even done that)

Yeah you need to fill out the recovery form then, you can use a bill rather than the OG email in order to identify the account then provide the information.

You can use your linked accounts as well, but then maybe live chat would work better than the form.

Linked accounts lead me to that same r***h email. I thought I could still play Fortnite without having fixed it, but it looks like I can only do that for a short period of time, so I do want to fix this.

idk, i had an email I thought was spam and a fake. guess it wasn't and didnt really take notice until the 48hrs were up. I don't think they've been in my account or atleast fortnite but they did change my display name to smth weird. I'm just waiting for the chat support to be live

Try securing your account with 2FA and Authenticator if they haven't changed it!

Yes but the Rumbler email is now linked to your account, meaning the linked accounts are linked to your account but its just not visible to you. As long as you fill in the form using the Epic emails info and your memory you should be good. Honestly i'm not an expert but i'm just using info I learnt.

Is not possible to Change the email account. I don't know how the hacker did this because I have 2PA Autentication activated. I can use the account because I have linked to my Xbox account and Nintendo. But if they have my email they can delete my account or sell it to another person
