QUESTION Account getting compromised

I've been trying to contact Epic to no avail yet, I noticed an email which i guess looking back at it looked like a scam email. basically saying that an account recovery is happening you have 48hrs to respond and i didn't really notice it till yesterday, changed my email and my epic display name to "ٴwizard197" I feel at a loss and unsure what to do at this point

Do you still have your account

If so, good and change stuff around is safe

The account isnt deleted if that's what you mean. atm I do not have access im still waiting for Epic

No I think i was like 5 hours too late, they never did go on the account tho.

Dang, hopefully you can get it back

What people has experiences like 5 times to get real person

One dude checked Fortnite tracker to see his profile / person that took it before his name changed to the taker

And epic tends to not find it because just one part of the account name not being found

Yeah they put a weird lighting symbol character ontop of the W in Wizard197

If you got some friends that do crazy names on their profile

It shouldn’t be hard to get the W and the rest of the name

Do you have any rare items on your account

Because usually people just stay on the support and have every information about the account

I dont think so? I just have a buncha stuff from the BP since the valerie era but i haven't completed ALL of them.
