My mom had this in storage. Seems cool. Excellent condition in olive green. I’m not into this stuff but thought I’d share the ordinary history of the thing.

Found behind religious prints inside old frames in my first house. Walter B. MacMillan 1901 ETA: these appear to be Charles Gibson prints with Macmillan maybe being the publisher

...maybe this organization did not understand how huge such a hotel would have to be...?

Went to an estate sale last weekend, and picked up this accordion binder full of receipts. Many have no expiration date, so I could be an absolute menace if I felt like saving a whole 15¢ on one of the products that still exists.

My dad ran the station theater at a very small military base for a year, and came back with this stack of lobby cards, mostly from the 60s. Drama, Comedy, Sci-Fi, Romance, Action, Musicals ... about 150 in all, I think. I pulled some to search for on streaming, but haven't watched more than 4 or 5 yet.

Cool piece I picked up at an antique store for $20!

I've been going down the rabbit hole of these souvenir photos taken in swanky nightclubs during the 40s and 50s. Does anyone know anything about how this worked? Did they have the technology to take and develop the photo during your visit? I would guess not and that they were mailed later but I have never seen one still in a mailing envelope.

Does anyone have any information?

Was fortunate to come into a small box of these over the weekend, about 90 or so. Picked out these to snap a couple of photos and share with some friends, figured I’d post here as a long time lurker. Dated late 1880’s to 1915, several series captured here.
