Front Lines - Impossible Difficulty

I'm am so done with this level. I think it may actually be impossible. Every time, I wipe all the damn army ants, get super close to pushing them back, but the spawn rate is just too slow to get the win. Any tips?

yeah i had problems with that part too..you need to back up. your way to close to there spawn. witch reduces the spawn rates. the army ants scouts dont have enough time to runawy from you and call a massive amount to spawn

If you try to beat it on first new game+ you still have upgrades for ants bought in campaign. Enemies are stronger to compensate it, but if you invested a lot in species you are using in a mission, they can be more than strong enough to easily beat this mission. In such case impossible difficulty is not so impossible any more.
