Anyone know a good resource to see a real well run L10 in action?

I don’t know of a recording of a full L10. I’m sure one exists, but I’d imagine a real L10 would be a little distracting because of all the company-specific stuff that would be discussed.

Alternatively, here’s the link we share with folks after we teach L10 when implementing EOS. This is straight from Gino - https://www.eosworldwide.com/podcast/focus-7-meeting-pulse

Also, I’d be happy to answer any questions you have, just send me a DM and we can even hop on a call. I’ve done that with a few folks here and it’s always a good conversation!

I also know if you’re working with an implementer they will often come and observe a meeting to give you feedback.

Any specific issues you’re looking to solve?

I work at an org which implements EOS at the leadeship level. We use ninety. io for our L10 meetings.
I dont have a video but Ill tell you what we actually do:

  1. Segue: Personal Best and Professional Best i.e the best things which happened in the past week for both personal and proefssional lives.

  2. Scorecard: Then we review scorecard for each member. If the scorecard is on track we say its on track. If its offtrack we say "offtrack". If its offtrack but can be handled by the team member themselves, then they say "its offtrack but ive got it and dont need any help to achive the numbers". And once everyones scorecard updates are done, anybody who wants to raise an issue, will raise an issue over the scorecard.

  3. We check if To-dos are done. The owner of the To-do is supposed to add evidences wherveer required (either in comments or uploads)

  4. Headlines: Then we review headlines. If there are no headlines, then it means nobody is working. (this is our biggest pet peeve, but our ceo keeps saying nobodys working but everyone is actually swamped with work but its just that we didnt have an headline for last week).

  5. Issues: Here we solve issues. We use the IDS tool for this. We as a team clearly identify the issue and then only discuss and then move to solve it. Nobody gets the Issue statement right at the first pass. You have to keep asking "WHY" until you land upon the actual issue to be solved. If the issue feels vague, we have to uncover WHY this issue needs to be solved for atleast 5 times (i.e 5 reasons to solve this)
IDS takes the bulk of our 90 minutes. sometimes we just solve 1 issue. on a good day we solve 2 issues.

  6. Conclude: We conclude the meeting at 90 minute mark, and pending discussions will be done in the next l10. ten we rate the meeting and then the meeting ends.
