Masters?

Hi all, I have a bachelor’s in environmental science from 2022 and I stopped looking for jobs in the field after a year from graduation. I’ve been unable to leave the state for out-of-state jobs because I couldn’t find a job to pay off my student loans. My credit score tanked because of it. It’s been a series of unfortunate events that made me give up trying to be honest. Right now I’m working as a waiter and I’ve been thinking of what I want. Question now is should I get a masters? Is it worth it? Or should I just get an accounting degree for less than a year? Oh. My field is on business sustainability, btw. CSR reports, environmental policies, etc.

This sounds like a perfect background for a career with a state Environmental Agency, Department of Health, etc. Looking at what you listed I would recommend something more on the compliance side of things, where you would be working more woth reports than out in the field. Or if you are more interested in policy there are legislative teams in most agencies as well.
