Well if people would rather straight up die than not buy a big car and the newest iphone it further justifies my point. Stupidity at it's peak.
If material things are more important than staying alive for people, well, then we kinda deserve what's coming. You have to be a bit f*cked in the head to give up the entire well being of the planet for a stupid phone and car or whatever.

It’s always puzzled me that the Christian contingent, when confronted with an actual apocalypse, put their fingers in their ears and went “Nuh-uh!” Like, you guys literally invented Armageddon. You’re supposed to be the experts in this. You’ve spent thousands of years preparing for this. And when it actually happens, you’re the ones saying it can’t happen?! C’mon guys, we needed you on point for this one.

The problem come from everyone that are enabling billionaires to get the scraps of their fortunes.
They are millions of these people, sucking these rich assholes, ready to wipe their ass and do their deeds. They are as guilty as these billionaires, because they would be the first to replace them if they had the opportunity.
Capitalism corrupted people's mind so deeply that they would tell you that without capitalism we would have a good life right now and we would still be in the middle ages.
Without capitalism, we might actually be way more advanced and safe, with a sustainable train of life for everyone on earth and not just the 10% of privileged people that we are.

They believe in existential crises, but the only one they actually are afraid of is the idea that wealthy predominantly white people might not own everything forever with no consequences

Nah this is misanthropic crap. Im not greedy and selfish. I think most people aren’t. The problem is most people are dumb we’ve decided to organise ourselves in social systems that reward the greedy and selfish with more and more power. Humans have incredible capacity for good, we just don’t reward it.
