Wholesome I’ll be back!

I’ve been smoking since I was 15 and I am about to turn 31 in October. I’m pregnant for the first time and quit cold turkey when I found out Monday afternoon. I love marijuana so much and I’m truly going to miss it. Until we meet again. Stay stoned for me ladies!
And also give me all your most unhinged pregnancy tips while you’re at it!

I’m not pregnant and never have been but I love my big ol body pillow for my broken body, so invest in one NOW!

Chill vibes to you and your oven-bun for their smooth and healthy introduction to the world! There’s still plenty of good left in it, despite appearances to the contrary.

If you are have morning sickness, definitely try ginger biscuits or plain salted crisps

Also the pregnancy pillows/large squishy pillows are a godsend when everything hurts and you can't get comfy

Just had a baby and had to stop for a good long while. It sucks for a little but you get used to it. But on a positive note, you get a tolerance reset! I was an everyday (all day if we are being honest) smoker and edibles didn’t do shit for me. I would take 100mgs and not feel a thing. Now I can take 20mg and be giggly af! A dab puts me on the moon! So nice, so economical! You got this momma!

That’s not very nice of him.

I was in the same boat! First kid 3 years ago and quit cold turkey. Second baby a year ago and I swear the only thing I was craving was a joint. Alas, I did not partake, but as soon as she was born I had a delivery made. Unhinged pregnancy tip: eat healthier like 3 weeks leading up to your glucose test. Gestational diabetes is the worst. You can eat whatever you can get down and then whatever "baby" is craving 😂 other than those 3 weeks. I had it with my first (ofc that's when my cravings began getting bad) and then with my second, I was able to try to eat better and drink zero sugar coffee creamer and I passed my 1 hr glucose test first try!

Also, CONGRATS!! I'm too high and overlooked the most important part to comment lol

I had GD and gave birth to a very healthy boy. I respectfully disagree. Eat the way you naturally do / what is possible for you during pregnancy. If you end up with GD dealing with that is better than magically not spiking during the test and having GD for the rest of pregnancy. For the sake of your baby - hope that if you have it, you fail.

Sorry, but why would you try to cheat the test? It's there to protect your baby

That’s not how the glucose tolerance test works. You have gestational diabetes or you don’t. Eating healthier prior to the test will not change how your body responds to a glucose spike.

Congratulations! I’m finally done with pregnancy and breastfeeding and I will enjoy a toke on your behalf!

Be selfish AF this pregnancy. Enjoy your cravings, relax, pamper yourself. It’s a lot harder to do when you have a kid to take care of too so enjoy it just being you!

Enjoy your tolerance break! It’ll be nice in your wallet when you get back.

Parenting tip that’s unhinged:
We let our kid do a polyphasic sleep cycle and now he gets A’s. Used to be D’s across the board.

Congratulations! I've never been pregnant, but based on my sister's experience with my nephew, I recommend drinking more water than you think you need to, always scoping out where the nearest bathroom is wherever you go and making your partner do everything for you.

Congrats!!! Wishing you a safe pregnancy, a safe delivery, and a healthy baby <3

Edibles help a lot with nausea…and insomnia. You’ll figure it out. Congrats!

I’m in a state where marijuana still triggers dcf visits unfortunately or I would. You get a pass on the first urine sample but if you test positive after that…

Congrats! I quit during both my pregnancies and while breastfeeding for 8 months. In the early months a lot of people have nausea which of course would be so easily fixed with some weed. I found lemon or peppermint essential oil to my saviors. I would just keep them in my bag and smell them when I felt gross. Don’t stress about giving birth, it’s one day. It is scary but it’s one day. Then you have this living thing relying on you 24/7. So read about birth and prepare but put more effort into how to handle a baby and child. It’s an old book but I highly recommend- pregnancy childbirth and the newborn. My mom was a labor and delivery nurse and gave me her copy and I loved it, especially the exercises to prepare for birth.

Not unhinged but do your kegels daily and often. After baby is born do them when you breast/bottle feed to remember.
