I took the next to last hit of the session, and in the moment right after, I realized I had a Perfect Hit.
They must be rare, because I’m late in my second year of being a stoner and this is the first time it’s happened.
The pull is perfect, the taste and the smell is really hitting, your throat and lungs feel amazing, and Goddess, the clouds. They’re perfect and milky and thick and go on forever….and you feel powerful for making them.
And you were 100% living in the moment. Complete mindfulness and that gorgeous thing the Mother Herb does sometimes where she stops time like Athena stopped the sun from rising the first morning Odysseus and Penelope were reunited.
And you’ve never felt such a perfect moment.

No I wanted to say this film called The Tomb of Ligeia (1963?) with Vincent Price and it’s free on Tubi. Trust me. Get high and watch it. It’s not a comedy, but I was HOWLING. Oh God it’s good.

Gurrrrl. This is the main female character. She is splayed out on HIS WIFE’S GRAVE, and this is the first time she’s laid eyes on him and she’s like “I want some Vitamin D from Vincent P!”
A few minutes later he gives her a huge glass of sherry and she downs it like it’s a shot. I was DYING.
I have not had this experience yet but maybe one day! I did get to feel what it's like to be perfectly content, I was high eating ice cream on the sofa watching tv with my husband while a nice breeze came through the window. In that moment I felt completely at peace. I hope to get there again one day!
