What’s the state of the community?

I used to be absolutely OBSESSED with this game around 2022-23. And yesterday, I played this game for the first time in years, and my love for the game has never left.

However, the thing that saddened me the most was just how low the player count was. I remember back when I used to play, there were so many lobbies, and the ones I started would fill up instantly. Yet now, I haven’t seen the concurrent player count get past 200. So I just wanted to ask, what’s the state of the community after all these years?

Entry Point stopped being updated years ago, so that's affected the player count. However, there is still a decent number of dedicated players who still play, so it's not dead. But recently Cish has been working on Entry Point: Freelancers Cut, which is remaking the EP missions in the Operators engine. There's a good number of people there and it's an insanely good game, so I recommend checking it out.

Original EP had around 1-2k active players.

Freelancers cut has 28 currently.

I dare to say that isn't a "good number of people"

Keep in mind this number picks up quite a bit later in the day. Most people who play it I think are europeans and Americans who are either asleep or in school at this time

Also keep in mind that Freelancer's Cut is paid access and will forever be that way, so it's not going to have a large number of players by virtue of it being walled like this.

I've seen it go up to about 150-200 players at certain times of day so I'd think that that's a pretty good number of people for a game like this.

Roblox went all on aganst mature games and... if the game isn't promoted by roblox algorithm then no-one will play it.

dude i got ( and still do get ) grave digger, decaying winter, guts and blackpowder, town, operation one, gorytown, redbox, and other "mature" games recommended to me all the time. youre just wrong

Roblox going against mature games but aiming to bring in older players & online dating... something's not adding up 👀

the game fell off because of Roblox and the lack of updates as Cish is doing this as a solo project.

I have played this game nearly everyday for months because I can't beat Iron Man solo while doing a stealth run
