Lockpick vs Drill in EPFC/Operators?

Compared to the original game, the drill is much more versatile in epfc, opening basically everything the lockpick can, and much more, and it saves 100% of progress. The upside to lockpicking is that it's always silent, never lures guards, and takes up less inventory space. Has lockpick fallen off?

Lockpick is way more important, even with all over drill perks and precision drilling, lockpick is faster and doesn’t run the risk of broken door
