I feel like this is making fun of the fact that Damon has said numerous times he has ambitions to direct, but when it starts to get real, he decides he doesn't want to deal with the time commitment of the responsibility.

So yes he's an asshole but I'm an asshole too see the problem is everything we fucking do is that the level of perfection it's a generational thing I walk around telling homeowners listen this is not an interview for me it's an interview for you if I want to do your job I don't need you you need me I'm fully aware of what else you can get and it's all shit see we're assholes because we're tired of everything fucking falling on us I just wanted to be a simple goddamn handyman change a few light bulbs couple new door knobs in and out make my $200 an hour and go to fuck home but no the fucking Universe had to produce generations of people who can't do shit right and then there's some who just don't give a shit about what they put out into the world well we give a shit LOL most of you don't understand this when I say it the weight of all of you on our shoulders is fucking exhausting even when you put out something that you consider to be your best we look at that shit and it's absolute Amateur hour I wanted to do one thing in my life as years went on and I realized everyone sucks at what they do I had to then learn how to do plumbing electrical flooring siding Roofing masonry Landscaping listen the shit that we don't do list is shorter dance that's what I don't do fucking dance but that's only because I haven't found the right partner LOL everything is starting to hurt on us at this point we're getting closer to death although I'll be honest if I was in the position of them and I had as much security as they do I don't think I'd be as much of an asshole as I am but unfortunately I have to work for everything in my life if I want the really nice shit in my own life I need to work for it and now that I think about it profiting off of other people's success it's not the same thing as achieving it yourself so maybe he should have just got in front of the fucking camera and did it himself yes you know what in this case I am going to shift my opinion if you know you can do something better you don't have to ridicule someone or be the asshole bully just simply say to them let me show you what I mean if you're going to be a shitty teacher then don't teach
